Traded in my high heels and rubber boots for Fins 40+ yrs.ago. i’ve done 10 educational mermaid festivals on Ocean awareness and now river restoration, Creek restoration, and 4000 ft.² butterfly garden here in Guerneville California.

My community of fisherman from Bodega Bay told me that if I was going to help them, I needed to fix the Russian River where their Salmon spawn‼️
- with my tail tucked underneath me went to learn, rivers and creeks. Did a study on invasive Ludwigia, while learning with River Keepers about streambank restoration and native plants. At my 2012 mermaid Festival I was approached to help clean up Fife Creek. Now 12 years plus, project manager position for bridge to bridge restoration on Fife Creek and a 4000 ft.² butterfly garden. Fife Creek , seasonal Creek blows out 20 miles from the Pacific Ocean right when the Salmon are coming up to spawn 120 mile Russian River. We removed all the toxins and maintain the health of Waters in Fife Creek flowing from Armstrong redwoods to blow out oxygenated and healthy now our 4000 ft.² butterfly garden creates the habitat that whole life on Fife Creek benefits from. We brought life back to /on Fife.
